Well another stunning walk at Loe Bar. A beautiful walk following the path through woods, fields and then hearing the rumble of the waves we made our way to Loe Bar. It’s an unusual place with Loe Pool one side and the Sea on the other. No swimming here tho, the currents are strong and the sea bed drops away suddenly but a perfect place for a Nordic Walk. The Bar is overlooked by a beautiful National Trust property which we think would make a great Christmas retreat! We then walked back past the Penrose estate also owned by the National Trust and peeked into the walled garden to see how they were getting along…..the pumpkins are coming along very nicely!! We ended the walk will a well earned breakfast at the Lakeside Cafe.
